Tapex, a silver sponsor of AFIA (Australian Fodder Industry Association), have introduced a new national sustainability award. The Plasback Sustainability award is sponsored by Tapex, through the Plasback farm plastics recycling program. Entry details are on the attached flyer or on the AFIA websites and are open until 30th June 2011.

 The Plasback Sustainability award looks to reward rural businesses that demonstrate leadership and innovation in moving Australian Agriculture towards a more sustainable and productive future. The business must show improved management practices in areas such as; all facets of on farm production, harvesting and distribution of agricultural products (including retail).

FIVE finalists will be selected from entries received nationally.

The winner will be chosen from these finalists and announced at the National Fodder Conference in Maroochydore in August. AFIA members will have the opportunity to vote for the winner at the conference.
